Letter to Students for the Coming End of the Year

Dear ICS Students,

During this time of year, school can’t get any more intense. With the end of school year in just a month away, it’s not at all surprising that we students are stressed, worried, and under pressure. We all have come a long way, but the race isn’t finished yet. There’s still so much to do, from assignments, projects, and ultimately, final exams for High Schoolers.

I know we all must be overwhelmed and exhausted, but we mustn’t give up. When we start out something, we should always finish it, no matter how tired, worn-out, or stressed we feel. We are lucky to be able to go school and learn, making new friends all along the way. I’m sure all the High Schoolers can relate to this after coming back from Week Without Walls. Recently, we have all gathered in the gym to hear their stories, which show how much God worked through them and how they accomplished great things. Take this as an encouragement and remember other children who don’t have a life like we

Recently, we have all gathered in the gym to hear the WWW stories, which show how much God worked through the teams and how they accomplished great things. Take this as an encouragement and remember other children who don’t have a life like we do, and encourage one another to reach our common goal: to finish strong. We are a school community, and we always work together. We may be from all over the world, but we are in the same school, having one purpose.

Remember that you are capable of finishing strong like everyone else, and remind yourself of where we are headed. Sometimes, we get so caught up in our stress and worry, that we forget what our main goal is, the most important thing. Just stay calm and set your eyes on the task and you will surely finish it. Also, remember that the most important thing is that you do your best and that’s what makes it all matter. Everyone has something to contribute to making the end of the year a great one, for every person counts to make a difference in the school.

Finally, if you are feeling low, talk to someone: a friend, your parents, or one of your teachers. Also pray and talk to God too; He knows your thoughts and feelings better than anyone else. Especially when this month and the following are full of work and stress, it’s important to take time to pray and remember that God is the center of our lives, and we do these things for His honor and glory. So, let’s get back up again and do whatever task is needed to be done, ready to make this ending school year one to remember.

Sincerely,

Ashley
